Bishkek, Mar. 11, 2019. /Kabar/. The Committee on International Affairs, Defense and Security of the Jogorku Kenesh (Kyrgyz Parliament) considered and approved the issue of appointing Kubanychbek Omuraliev as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to Turkey.
Kubanychbek Kasymovich Omuraliev was born on September 15, 1960 in Bokonbaevo village, Issyk-Kul oblast.
Working career:
- 1984-1990 – Senior Engineer, Chief Engineer, Deputy Chairman;
- 1990-1992 – Chief Specialist, Head of the Department of Foreign Economic Relations of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic;
- 1992-1997 – Director General of the Kyrgyzzagropromimpeks Foreign Economic Association;
- 1997-1998 – Advisor at the Department of Western Countries of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic;
- 1998-1999 – Deputy Director of the Economic Policy Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic;
- 1999-2003 – Counselor-Envoy of the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the United States and Canada;
- 2003-2006 – Head of the Secretariat of the Advisory Board for Good Governance;
- 2004-2006 – National Coordinator for the Kyrgyz Republic Consultative Group for the Anti-Corruption Network of Countries in Transition (ACN), Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD);
- 2006-2011 – Executive Director of the NGO "Kyrgyz Parliamentarians against Corruption";
- 2011-2012 - Member of the Supervisory Board at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic;
- 2012-2015 – Consul General of the Kyrgyz Republic in the United Arab Emirates, Dubai;
