Bishkek, Feb. 16, 2022 . / Kabar /. At the meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh on Wednesday, Kyrgyz MPs considered the issue of consent to the appointment of Almazbek Beishenaliev to the position of Minister of Education and Science.
Permanent representative of the President and the Cabinet of Minister in the Jogorku Kenesh Almasbek Abytov presented information about the candidate.
During the discussion, MP Chyngyz Aidarbekov noted that the development of the state depends on the quality of education. He stressed the need to analyze all laws in the sphere of education and develop a document that meets the requirements of the time, and to simplify the procedure for accreditation and licensing of educational institutions.
The candidate for the post of minister of education and science responded that the draft law on education will be widely publicly discussed.
Deputy Chyngyz Azhibaev said that the Education Ministry needs to revise the school curriculum.
His counterpart Nurbek Alimbekov indicated that the ministry should conduct an analysis of the need to build schools in each region and on the basis of which to plan the construction of educational institutions. MP Altynbek Sulaimanov also identified the issue of improving the quality of education.
As a result of the discussion, the Jogorku Kenesh agreed to appoint Almazbek Beishenaliev as Minister of Education and Science.
