Parliament Speaker Mamytov meets with Kyrgyzstanis residing in Moscow

Bishkek, Dec. 9, 2020. /Kabar/. As part of his working visit to the Russian Federation, Acting President of Kyrgyzstan, Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh Talant Mamytov met with compatriots living in Moscow, the Parliament's press service said on Wednesday.

The speaker noted that he was pleased to have the opportunity to meet with Kyrgyzstanis, exchange views on topical issues and learn about the conditions of their lives.

Mamytov emphasized that during the talks in Moscow, special attention was paid to the measures taken to further improve the living conditions of migrant workers in Russia.

In particular, the meeting touched upon issues of migration interaction, the full resumption of regular air and railway communications between the countries, and the provision of compulsory health insurance to family members of Kyrgyz migrant workers in Russia.

He also informed compatriots that the Council on Migration, Compatriots and Diasporas Abroad had been formed under the Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh.

Mamytov noted the Council would ensure the timely development of recommendations and proposals on supporting, protecting the rights and legal interests of compatriots abroad.

At the end of the meeting, Talant Mamytov listened to the wishes of the compatriots and answered questions.
