Bishkek, Jan. 15, 2019. /Kabar/. The Parliamentary Committee on International Affairs, Defense and Security approved candidates as Ambassadors to the United States, Russia, China and Korea.
First Deputy Foreign Minister Dinara Kemelova aspires to the post of Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to South Korea, head of the Kyrgyz Embassy in Russia Bolot Otunbayev – the post of Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to the United States, ex-Foreign Minister Alikbek Jekshenkulov – the post of Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Russia, diplomat Kanayim Baktygulova – the post of Ambassador to China.
Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to the United States Kadyr Toktogulov was removed from his post on Monday, January 14.
Kyrgyz Ambassador to China Azamat Usenov was relieved of his post in December 2018.
Kyrgyz Ambassador to South Korea Kylychbek Sultanov was dismissed in October 2018.
