Bishkek, Nov. 26, 2021 . / Kabar / . Outdoor voting in the parliamentary elections of Kyrgyzstan will take place tomorrow, Nov. 27.
The Central Elections Commission of the republic reported that 13,396 applications to allow voters to vote out of the premises were submitted in the single constituency:
- Batken Oblast – 856;
- Osh Oblast –4114;
- Jalal-Abad Oblast –2700;
- Talas Oblast –480;
- Chui Oblast –1550;
- Bishkek – 1963;
- Naryn Oblast – 1076;
- Issyk-Kul – 657.
12,785 applications were received for single-mandate constituencies.
According to the Constitutional Law of Kyrgyz Republic "On the Election of President of Kyrgyz Republic and Deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh of Kyrgyz Republic", voters who are included in the voter lists but cannot come to the polling station due to health or disability have the right to vote outside the premises, as well as:
- voters who are in hospitals, places of detention of suspects and accused persons on the voting day;
- voters temporarily residing in places located in remote and hard-to-reach areas, in distant pastures.
Kyrgyzstan’s parliamentary elections will be held on Nov. 28.
A total of 21 political parties and 287 candidates in single-member electoral districts will run in the elections of deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh.
