Pashinyan: We have managed to expand geography of EAEU cooperation

Yerevan, Oct.1, 2019. /Kabar/. “As a result of close and effective cooperation between all the links of the Eurasian Economic Union, we have managed to expand the geography of the Union's cooperation,” Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said, opening the Meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council.

“I have repeatedly noted that we aim to participate in the EAEU in the most productive way possible, while at the same time making efforts to improve cooperation mechanisms and the effective functioning of the integration space. Before we start discussing the issues on the agenda, I would like to note that we are doubly pleased to hold today's Meeting. As it will be attended by leaders of the two countries-Iran and Singapore, with whom our Union is developing trade and economic relations.

As a result of close and effective cooperation between all parts of our Organization, we have managed to expand the geography of the Union's cooperation, thanks to which today's Meetings are of particular importance,” Pashinyan said.

Then the prime minister of Armenia wished the Meeting participants a fruitful work.

The SEEC Meeting is attended by Presidents of Russia Vladimir Putin, Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov, Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan and Chairman of the EEC Board Tigran Sargsyan.
