Passports issued to border conflict-hit Batken Oblast residents

Osh, May 18, 2021. / Kabar / . 17 citizens of Kyrgyzstan’s Batken Oblast who lost their documents during the armed border conflict received new passports, the oblast state administration said Tuesday.

Employees of the State Registration Service accept on the ground applications for loss of identity documents during the border conflict. Thus, 49 applications for passports were received - ID-cards, 2 for birth certificates and 1 for marriage certificates.

17 citizens who previously lost their documents during a border incident received on Tuesday new passports. Due to the situation, the Citizens Reception Center of the State Registration Service in Batken changed its work schedule and is open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
