Bishkek, May 28 / Kabar /. His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia met on Sunday with head of the clergy of Kyrgyzstan Mufti Maksat azhy Toktomushev.
During a short conversation with Maksat azhy Toktomushev, Patriarch Kirill wished peace and prosperity to the entire people of Kyrgyzstan.
The mufti of Kyrgyzstan said that Kyrgyzstan and Russia are friendly countries since ancient times.
This is the first visit of the head of the Russian Orthodox Church to Kyrgyzstan.
