Bishkek, July 26, 2022. /Kabar/. The retirement age in Kyrgyzstan will not be raised, Chairman of the Social Fund of the republic Baktiyar Aliev said during a press conference on the results of the first half of the year.
He noted that the pension reform in the country is completed.
"At present, the documents are being coordinated in relevant agencies. There are no global innovations, the retirement age remains the same. The only novelty will be the facilitation of the collection of documents for pensions,” the head of the Social Fund said.
As of July 1, 2022, the total number of pension recipients in the republic is 728,164 people.
Women in Kyrgyzstan retire at the age of 58 and men - at 63.
