People in Bishkek more often die from circulatory disease and cancer

Bishkek, Oct. 30, 2018. /Kabar/. The main cause of mortality of the population of the capital of Kyrgyzstan is diseases of the circulatory system, Vice Mayor of the capital Asel Kulambaeva told during a round table on “Optimization of the System of Provision of Primary Health Care in Bishkek”.

“The main cause of mortality in the city of Bishkek is 50.5% - the circulatory system disease, 3.0% - congenital anomalies, 2.9% - respiratory disease, 5.9% - diseases of the digestive system, 7.6% - external causes of death, 8.5 % - the state occurring in the perinatal period, 14.4% - the neoplasm (cancer) and other causes - 5.1%,” she said.
