Bishkek, June 29, 2020. /Kabar/. If a citizen has a temperature above 38°C and signs of pneumonia, patients will be hospitalized without waiting for the PCR test results, Deputy Health Minister of Kyrgyzstan Nurbolot Usenbayev said a news briefing.
According to him, some of the Health Ministry’s algorithms have changed to date.
"All primary level specialists have been mobilized to ensure that all patients are admitted, even for mild pneumonia or respiratory illness.
According to the algorithm, if a citizen has a temperature above 38 38°C, there are signs of pneumonia, then patients will be hospitalized without waiting for the results of the PCR test. Also, due to the situation, more medical facilities are being reoriented to accept coronavirus patients,” Usenbayev concluded.
Kyrgyzstan confirmed on Monday 269 new COVID-19 cases, raising the total number of infections to 5,017.
Nationwide recoveries from novel coronavirus has reached 2,294, all patients have been sent home.
Three more virus related death is registered over the day, raising the death toll to 50.
