Bishkek, Feb. 16, 2022. / Kabar /. Permanent Representative of Kyrgyzstan to the UN Aida Kasymalieva presented her credentials to UN Secretary General António Guterres.
Kasymalieva wrote on her page in social networks that she also conveyed the best wishes on behalf of President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov and told about the country's priorities in the UN in the context of further strengthening cooperation.
Kasymalieva noted that she also briefed about the country's priorities and the measures taken to protect the environment, in particular the mountain ecosystem.
In turn, António Guterres warmly welcomed Kasymalieva and wished her further successful activities in order to develop relations between the Kyrgyz Republic and the UN.
“He also conveyed sincere greetings to the president, the people of Kyrgyzstan, noting that he visited Kyrgyzstan several times with great pleasure and remembers the people of Kyrgyzstan, nature and its mountain beauties with warm feelings. In this context, the UN Secretary General emphasized that Kyrgyzstan is a leader in advancing the mountain agenda and wished further success in this direction,” she wrote.
