Bishkek, Dec. 19, 2017 / Kabar /. In its activities, the government of the Kyrgyz Republic takes steps, in the implementation of which the person is on the top of all interests, namely his rights and security, UNDP Deputy Permanent Representative in the Kyrgyz Republic Aliona Nikulita told in Bishkek speaking at the conference on the activities of public councils and state bodies.
She said that to date the Government of Kyrgyzstan is beginning to implement strategically important documents such as the National Strategy for Sustainable Development 2020-2040, as well as Taza Koom and 40 Steps to a New Era programs, and, according to her assessment, these documents will promote to encourage every person to participate in the development of the country.
Nikulita also praised the work of the public councils and said that they play an important role in building democratic public administration and in conducting independent monitoring of the activities of state bodies, as well as providing independent expertise on the expectations of the civil sector.
The conference is held in the Congress Hall of the Ala-Archa State Residence. The event is attended by Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Sapar Isakov, members of public councils, representatives of state bodies, civil society organizations, as well as international organizations.
