Phone talk held between Kyrgyz, Uzbek presidents

Bishkek, July 10, 2023. /Kabar/. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov held on Monday a telephone conversation with President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

Sadyr Zhaparov once again warmly congratulated Mirziyoyev on convincing victory in the past presidential elections, noting that his victory is an important indicator of trust of the brotherly Uzbek people. The election results have confirmed the support of the people of the country for his political course aimed at ensuring socio-economic growth of the country.

The Kyrgyz leader expressed confidence that Shavkat Mirziyoyev's activity will further contribute to the development of fraternal Uzbekistan and improvement of welfare of its people.

The presidents also discussed prospects for further Kyrgyz-Uzbek bilateral cooperation, as well as issues of regional interaction.
