Bishkek, Jan. 10, 2019. /Kabar/. Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov continues his working visits to the regions of the country.
On January 9, the President began his first working trip in 2019 from Sokuluk region, Chuy oblast, the press service of the Kyrgyz President’s Office reported.
At a meeting with residents of Sokuluk region, the President spoke about the work done in 2018 within the framework of the declared year of development of the regions.
He noted that it had been decided to declare the year 2019 the Year of Development of Regions and Digitalization of the Country.
Jeenbekov answered questions from residents of Sokuluk region, which mainly concerned construction and repair of roads, social and infrastructure facilities, issuance of concessional loans, construction of processing plants, provision of clean drinking water and environmental problems.
Further, the President familiarized himself with the activities of the Agroprodukt Asia agricultural logistics center and the Imperial Group shoe manufacturing enterprise, and also visited the Center for the Rehabilitation of Children with Disabilities in Sokuluk region.
