Republican conference “National Dialogue on Regional Development” held in Bishkek - photo report

Bishkek, Feb. 27, 2019. /Kabar/. The republican conference “The Kyrgyz Republic: National Dialogue on Regional Development” began its work in Bishkek, on February 27, with the participation of President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Jeenbekov.

In his speech, the President spoke about the main measures and ongoing large-scale work on the implementation of state policy aimed at the comprehensive development of the regions, the press service of the Kyrgyz President’s Office reported.

He awarded the heads of state administrations, local governments and entrepreneurs with watches of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic for contribution to the socio-economic development of the country.

World Bank Country Manager for the Kyrgyz Republic Bolormaa Amgaabazar, Resident Coordinator of the UN System in Kyrgyzstan Ozonnia Ojielo, Governor of Osh oblast Uzarbek Jylkybayev, representatives and heads of business communities, district administrations, city keneshes (councils), village authorities the country spoke at the conference.

Representatives of the executive, legislative, judicial branches of power, other government agencies, local governments, business and the expert community, and development partners have been invited to the conference, which will be held for two days – February 27 and 28.

During the two days of the conference, participants will be involved in thematic sessions, seminars and working meetings, where it is planned to develop recommendations on creating favorable conditions for the development of the business environment and investment climate in the regions, involving civil society institutions in the processes of public control and monitoring of the implementation of strategic documents in the field of regional policy.
