Osh, March 22, 2021. / Kabar /. A pilaf festival was organized in the city of Osh on March 21, in honor of the Nooruz holiday.
In the southern regions of Kyrgyzstan, pilaf is the main and favorite dish on the table, and in each separate region they use their own kind of rice in the preparation of pilaf according to a unique recipe.
The cooked pilaf is provided to local residents free of charge.
In addition, there were organized mass festivities, making national dish – Sumolok, concerts and sports games.
