Pilot census launched in Chuy oblast. Census of more than 63 thsd people made

Bishkek, Apr. 1, 2019. /Kabar/. From March 25 to April 3, 2019, a pilot population and housing census is held in Tokmok and Chuy region, Chuy oblast, as part of the preparation and conduct of a population and housing census throughout the country in 2020.

In total, 13 census departments have been created in Tokmok and Chuy region and 362 people have been recruited, including 13 coordinators, 55 instructors and 294 census takers. In addition, 277 census stations were created.

As of March 31, 2019, 18 thousand 945 residential buildings were covered in the census and data of 63 thousand 596 people was taken. Of the total population of Tokmok and Chuy region, 56% of the population went through the pilot census.
