Bishkek, Feb. 21, 2019. /Kabar/. The participants of the working group in Bishkek reviewed the Action Plan for the implementation of the Industrial Development Strategy of the Kyrgyz Republic for the period 2019-2024.
According to the document, the industrial development for the coming years is expected to be based on macroeconomic stability, maximum investment attraction, scientific achievements, raising the level of qualification and education, modern infrastructure, as well as development of regional industry with increased degree of processing of local raw materials.
The draft Strategy was developed for the purposes of creating additional jobs, enhance competitiveness and export potential of industrial enterprises.
The Industrial Development Strategy of the Kyrgyz Republic for 2019-2024 will include all the fundamental aspects of development and is aimed at implementing reforms in the industrial sector.
Earlier, as part of the development of the draft Strategy, a number of events had been held with entrepreneurs and government representatives in the regions and in Bishkek. In the process of developing the draft strategy, surveys were regularly conducted among socially active entrepreneurs, heads of business associations and experts conducting their activities in various sectors of the economy.
