Bishkek, Dec.26, 2024. /Kabar/. Minister of Health of Kyrgyzstan Alymkadyr Beishenaliev talked over phone with his Kazakh counterpart Akmaral Alnazarova about the condition of three Kyrgyz citizens injured in the plane crash.
Thus, one of them is in a serious condition, two are in a state of moderate severity.
“Kazakhstani medical specialists promptly provided the necessary assistance, and at the moment the injured are under the supervision of doctors,” the report said.
Minister Alymkadyr Beishenaliev expressed his gratitude to Kazakh colleagues for their professionalism and prompt response, and discussed further steps to rehabilitate our citizens.
On Dec. 25, at about 11:30 a.m., an Embraer 190 crashed in Kazakhstan’s Mangistau Region, 3 kilometers from Aktau International Airport. Flight AHY8243 was on the Baku-Grozny route. There were 67 people on board - 62 passengers and 5 crew members.
The crew declared an emergency due to collision with a bird and loss of control. At 11:30 a.m. the airplane crashed and caught fire. At the moment 15 people are in hospital, 5 of them in intensive care. Another 6 people are taken to medical centers. A total of 28 people were injured.
