Plane from Novosibirsk with 176 Kyrgyzstanis en board lands in Bishkek

Bishkek, Apr. 22, 2020. /Kabar/. Today, Apr. 22, a charter flight of Sibir Airlines (S7) with 176 Kyrgyz citizens en board arrived in Bishkek from Russia's Novosibirsk, the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry said.

Kyrgyzstanis were awaiting the return home because of temporary suspension of regular flights between the two countries due to the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic.

Elderly passengers, women with children, pregnant women, citizens with health problems at centers of administrative offenders (expulsion), as well as citizens who arrived from remote regions of Russia and found themselves in difficult financial situations were sent on this flight as a priority.

Six citizens of Kyrgyzstan from Vietnam have been also returned in transit through Novosibirsk.

According to the press service of the Republican Headquarters for Preventing Import and Further Spread of Coronavirus, for the safety of all 176 Kyrgyz citizens, they have been served at the airport apron and sent for examination.

Russian citizens will fly to Novosibirsk from Bishkek.
