Plane with Kyrgyzstanis on board lands in south of country

Bishkek, Aug. 25, 2020. /Kabar/. A plane of the Sibir (S7) following the Novosibirsk-Osh route has arrived Aug. 25 in Kyrgyzstan.

According to the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry, 148 compatriots including young children have been returned to the homeland.

The charter flight was performed as part of implementation of agreements, reached by the Kyrgyz, Russian Foreign Ministries in accordance with the instruction of President and the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic as part of the ongoing work on the return of Kyrgyz citizens, located in foreign countries because of temporary closure of borders and the suspension of international passenger air traffic due to the spread of coronavirus pandemic in the world.

Also, this flight brought back Kyrgyz citizens from Novosibirsk, Krasnoyarsk, Irkutsk, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Vladivostok, Khabarovsk, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskiy, Yakutsk and other cities of the Siberian Federal District.

Work on the return of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic, located abroad and willing to return to their homeland, continues.
