Plane with speaker of Kyrgyz Parliament on board could not land in Tashkent

Bishkek, Dec. 20, 2017 / Kabar /. The plane with Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh Dastanbek Dzhumabekov and other members of the Kyrgyz Parliament on board could not land at the airport in Tashkent because of thick fog.

Head of the press service of the Jogorku Kenesh Ibraim Nurakun uulu on his Facebook account wrote that "there is a thick fog in Tashkent. The delegation of the Jogorku Kenesh headed by Speaker Dastanbek Dzhumabekov landed in Samarkand. The local authorities met the unexpected guests with dignity."

The parliament's website reports that the delegation of the Jogorku Kenesh today, on December 20, arrived in Uzbekistan for official visit.

A number of events are planned today, in particular, participation in the ceremony of laying flowers at the grave of first president of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov.

This visit is held at the invitation of chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan Nigmatilla Yuldashev.
