Bishkek, Jan.17, 2020. /Kabar/. Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev had a telephone conversation with Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev, the Kyrgyz Government’s press service reported.
During the conversation, PM Abylgaziev thanked Dmitry Medvedev for fruitful joint work as the prime minister of Russia.
The head of the Government stressed personal contribution of Russia’s former PM to the development of Kyrgyz-Russian relations and implementation of joint projects in various areas.
Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev also paid special attention to joint constructive work to promote the idea of Eurasian integration. He noted Kyrgyzstan highly appreciates Dmitry Medvedev's personal contribution to strengthening strategic partnership and alliance between the countries.
The Kyrgyz prime minister confirmed his readiness to continue the friendly dialogue and constructive work, and expressed confidence that Dmitry Medvedev's determination, foresight and accumulated experience will continue to serve the interests of development and strengthening of the Russian Federation, as well as further deepening of the Kyrgyz-Russian cooperation.
During the conversation, the sides discussed topical issues of Kyrgyz-Russian relations.
Former Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has been appointed deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council after resignation of the entire Russian government on Jan.15.
Earlier on Thursday, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree appointing Mikhail Mishustin as the country’s prime minister after the Russian State Duma (lower house of parliament) gave its consent to Mishustin’s appointment.
