PM Abylgaziev to attend meeting of Eurasian Intergov'l Council in Kazakhstan

Bishkek, Jan.30, 2020. /Kabar/. Tomorrow, Jan. 31 Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev will pay working visit to Kazakhstan.

During the visit, he will attend the regular meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council (EIGC), to be held in Almaty.

There are 14 issues on the meeting’s agenda.

Of these, ten issues will be considered by prime minister of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) at a narrow format meeting, and four issues are expected to be discussed in extended format.

The EIGC meeting will be held with the participation of PMs of the following EAEU member states: Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia.

Participants of the meeting are also expected to discuss initiatives in favor of expanding the use of national currencies in the Eurasian space and improving the application of protective measures taking into account international practices and the experience of multilateral integration associations, BelTA reported.

The forum Digital Future of Global Economy will take place in Almaty alongside the session of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council.
