Bishkek, Dec.11, 2019. /Kabar/. At the meeting at the Digital Command Centre of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, Kyrgyzstan’s Prime Minister Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev has set a task to form by Feb. 1, 2020 state body for the protection of personal data.
He noted preparations for the implementation of the main stage of the Safe City project, which will cover 7 oblasts, 2 cities of national importance, 15 cities of regional and regional importance, 73 settlements, are being made today.
At the same time, Abylgaziev said protection of rights and freedoms of citizens, protection of their personal data is one of the main duties of the state.
“There is need to ensure full protection of personal data of citizens from illegal actions. There should be no facts of distribution, transfer of personal data without the permission of the citizen. I set the task to form a state body for the protection of personal data by Feb.1, 2020," the prime minister said.
