PM Zhaparov and members of Kyrgyz Gov't take oath

Bishkek, Oct. 28, 2020. /Kabar/. Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov and members of the Government took an oath of allegiance to the Kyrgyz Republic and its people.

Sadyr Zhaparov was first to take the oath of allegiance. Then other members of the Kyrgyz Government were sworn in.

"I, Zhaparov Sadyr Nurgozhoievich, when taking office before the people of Kyrgyzstan, Jogorku Kenesh, the president swear to observe the Constitution and its laws, to carry out my powers faithfully. I swear to serve the people of Kyrgyzstan. In case of violation of this oath, I am ready to be punished according to the law," he said.

Newly appointed government members swore to observe the Constitution of the Kyrgyz Republic and its laws sacredly, and to follow only the principles of legality and justice in their activities, honestly and faithfully serve the people of Kyrgyzstan:

First Deputy Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic – Artem Novikov;

Deputy Prime Minister – Ravshan Sabirov;

Deputy Prime Minister – Maksat Mamytkanov;

Deputy Prime Minister – Elvira Surabaldiyeva;

Head of the Government’s Office, Minister – Baktybek Amanbayev;

Minister of Finance – Kyyalbek Mukashev;

Minister of Agriculture, Food Industry and Land Reclamation – Tilek Toktogaziyev;

Minister of Transport and Roads – Bakyt Berdaliyev;

Minister of Internal Affairs – Ulan Niyazbekov;

Minister of Emergency Situations – Bobek Azhikeyev;

Minister of Health – Alymkadyr Beishenaliyev;

Minister of Education – Almazbek Beishenaliyev;

Minister of Culture, Information and Tourism – Nurzhigit Kadyrbekov;

Chairman of the State Committee of Industry, Energy and Subsoil Use – Zhyrgal Sagynbayev;

Chairman of the State Committee for National Security – Kamchybek Tashiyev;

Chairman of the State Committee for Defense Affairs – Erlis Terdikbayev.

It is worth nothing that post of Minister of Labor and Social Development is vacant.

At today’s meeting of the Kyrgyz Parliament at the Ala-Archa state residence, MPs did not approved former Deputy PM of Kyrgyzstan Aida Ismailova for this position.

Foreign Minister Ruslan Kazakbayev could not attend the ceremony because he is on a business trip.

Sadyr Zhaparov was appointed as the prime minister on Oct. 10 replacing Kubatbek Boronov.

The Parliament of the country unanimously approved the structure, composition and program of Sadyr Zhaparov's Government on Oct.14.
