Bishkek, June 10, 2020. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan's Prime Minister Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev held Wednesday phone conversation with his Kazakh counterpart Askar Mamin.
In the course of conversation, a situation at the Kyrgyz-Kazakh state border was discussed, the Kyrgyz Government's press service said.
At the suggestion of the Kazakh side, a mutual agreement was reached on the opening of all checkpoints at the Kyrgyz-Kazakh section of the state border, and the resolution of issues to ensure unhindered freight traffic across the state border.
Both sides reaffirmed their mutual commitment to previous agreements.
In the course of the talk, the two prime ministers also discussed issues related to cooperation in combating the spread of coronavirus infection, and measures taken by the sides to protect the population from COVID-19, as well as the main directions of further cooperation.
