Bishkek, March 25, 2020./Kabar/.Kyrgyzstan's Prime Minister Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev had on Wednesday telephone conversation with Kazakh Prime Minister Askar Mamin.
According to the Kyrgyz Government's press service, during the conversation the two PMs discussed cooperation issues in combating the spread of coronavirus infection, and measures taken by the sides to protect the population from COVID-19, as well as the main directions of further interaction.
In particular, Abylgaziev and Mamin debated issues of ensuring freight traffic across the Kyrgyz-Kazakh state border under the state of emergency, once again emphasizing the importance of creating conditions for the free movement of goods between the countries.
As of March 25, 2020 44 cases of COVID-19 were registered in Kyrgyzstan, while in Kazakhstan the number has reached 80.
