Bishkek, Jan. 22, 2019. /Kabar/. A presentation of a poetic book in Turkish “Köklerden Kanatlara Kadar/От корней до крыла” (lit.: from roots to wings) by national poet of Kyrgyzstan Kojogeldi Kultegin took place in Kabakcı guest house in Ankara, Turkey, the websites of TURKSOY and the Eurasian Union of Writers reported.
The event was opened and led by Chairman of the Eurasian Union of Writers, Dr. Yakup Ömeroğlu. Congratulatory words were delivered by Deputy Secretary General of TURKSOY, Prof. Dr. Fırat Purtaş and Chairman of the branch in the city of Bursa of the organization “Türk Ocakları”, Prof. Dr. Selçuk Kırlı.
The event was attended by prominent representatives of the creative and scientific intelligentsia of different peoples of the Turkic world.
In his speech, the People’s Poet of Kyrgyzstan Kojogeldi Kultegin informed about his work in Turkey, where he lives. According to him, 95% of the manuscripts of the new book had been written in Ankara.
The event was attended by Advisor to the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic in Turkey, currently acting Ambassador Aibek Akayev and representatives of the Kyrgyz diaspora in Ankara. The song “Sary-Oi” and others, performed by Kyrgyz singer Gulira Kasymkulova, revived the senses.
