Poetry recitation contest in Kyrgyz among Indian youth held in New Delhi

Bishkek, July 26, 2021 . / Kabar / . As part of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of Kyrgyzstan's independence, the Kyrgyz Embassy in India organized a poetry reading contest in the Kyrgyz language among Indian youth representing the Confederation of Young Leaders.

The press service of the Embassy reported that the event participants demonstrated creativity by reciting poems about love for the Kyrgyz land, Kyrgyz people and the beauty of the Kyrgyz nature.

The jury was made up of Kyrgyz citizens living in India, who praised the ability of the contestants to recite poems.

In order to learn about the culture and traditions of the Kyrgyz people, the guests were also shown a video about Kyrgyzstan and its tourism potential.

In his welcoming speech, Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to India Asein Isayev noted the Embassy is always seeking to support capable, proactive and talented young people who contribute to the strengthening of bilateral cultural and humanitarian cooperation between the two countries.

All participants of the contest were awarded certificates and memorable gifts.

At the end of the meeting, guests of the event could taste the traditional dishes of the Kyrgyz cuisine.
