Poets from Kyrgyzstan invited to Poetry Evening of Samarkand conference

Bishkek, Oct. 23, 2018. /Kabar/. The Turkic youth conference entitled “Poetry Evenings of Samarkand” will be held in Uzbekistan, to which Kyrgyzstanis have been invited, the State Agency for Youth, Physical Education and Sports reported.

The purpose of the event is to assist young poets in the development of their professional and artistic potential, as well as creating a platform for dialogue.

Representatives of the poetic community under 30 from the Turkic-speaking countries: Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Turkey (5 representatives from each country) have been invited to participate.

The costs related to participation in the conference (accommodation, meals, movement within the country) are borne by the Youth Union of Uzbekistan. International flight – at the expense of the seconding side.

The organizers are the Youth Union of Uzbekistan, jointly with the Writers' Association of Uzbekistan.
