Polish, Chinese medical specialists to arrive in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Apr. 18, 2020. /Kabar/. Groups of medical specialists from Poland and China will arrive in Kyrgyzstan on Apr. 19-20, 2020, the press service of the Republican Headquarters for Preventing Import and Further Spread of Coronavirus said Saturday.

Foreign specialists will provide assistance to domestic physicians in the fight against coronavirus infection.

"Medicians from Poland and China will share with Kyrgyz counterparts information and experience in this area," the report says.

On Apr. 18, another 17 new cases of COVID-19 infection have been identified in Kyrgyzstan, bringing the total to 506.

Of these, 116 are cases of medical personnel infection.

A total of 130 patients have recovered and been discharged throughout the country. Five have passed away.
