Bishkek, Oct. 4, 2020. /Kabar/. A polling station for the parliamentary elections in Kyrgyzstan has been opened in Minsk, the press service of the Kyrgyz Embassy in Belarus said Sunday.
"In connection with the election of deputies to the Jogorku Kenesh, polling station number 9023 has been opened on Oct. 4 at 8:00 local time at the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in the Republic of Belarus,” the report says.
As noted, due to ongoing pandemic of COVID-19 voting is carried out in accordance with the sanitary and epidemiological standards.
Citizens of Kyrgyzstan, who were previously included in the voter list, may vote at the polling station.
The parliamentary elections in Kyrgyzstan have started on Sunday morning. 16 parties participate in the election race.
