Population census of Kyrgyzstan to be held from March 25 to April 3, 2022

Bishkek, Nov. 12, 2021 / Kabar /. The population and housing census of Kyrgyzstan will be held from March 25 to April 3, 2022 simultaneously throughout the country, Aizada Tukasheva, a specialist in the department of statistical censuses of the National Statistical Committee, said at a press conference.

She said that the census will be carried out regardless of the presence of registration and its nature - permanent or temporary, as well as the right to living space in this or in another room and without the presentation of any documents.

She also noted that the duration of training for census personnel has been reduced to three days and training videos have been developed additionally.

Recall that last year the census was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
