Bishkek, April 15, 2024 / Kabar/. Its planned to build a port for Kyrgyzstan in Chinese city of Xi'an, the press service of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
The management of the Xi'an Land Railway Port announced such plans at a meeting with the Kyrgyz delegation.
“Basically, cargo goes from here to different countries. Last year they built a port for Kazakhstan. Taking into account the construction of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway will begin in the near future, the management of the Xi'an port is interested in building an equally large facility for Kyrgyzstan. This issue was also raised during negotiations between the leaders of Kyrgyzstan and China,” the organization noted.
