Bishkek, Mar. 29, 2019. /Kabar/. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kyrgyzstan to the Republic of Korea Dinara Kemelova met Dean of Sungkyunkwan University Tai-Myoung Chung.
The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported that Kemelova, noting the state policy aimed at digitization of the country, as well as development of human resources, asked for assistance in increasing educational programs for Kyrgyzstan.
During the meeting, the sides discussed possibility of presenting bursarial master programs at Sungkyunkwan University for citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic who wish to study in the field of “Information Technologies”.
The interlocutors discussed issues on the conclusion of agreements on inter-university cooperation.
During the meeting, the Korean side informed about its plans to send a group of professors and students of Sungkyunkwan University to Kyrgyzstan in order to exchange knowledge and train teachers at schools, as well as students of the Kyrgyz universities in the field of information and communication technologies.
