Bishkek, Oct.16, 2024. /Kabar/. To date, the project portfolio consists of 80 PPP projects with a total investment of more than USD 1 billion, Director of the National Agency for Investments under President of the Kyrgyz Republic Talantbek Imanov said during the 3rd International PPP Conference.
He noted that the PPP conference is a good platform for joining efforts, forming joint effective proposals and plans, as well as discussing current topical issues both at the state and international levels.
“Since the beginning of 2024, more than 20 agreements have been signed on PPP projects involving private investments worth about USD 300 million. These results show that we are moving in the right direction. Our Agency will continue to actively work on new projects that will help strengthen Kyrgyzstan's position in the international investment arena and contribute to sustainable economic growth,” Imanov said.
Bishkek hosted on Wednesday the Third International Conference on Public-Private Partnership (PPP), which brought together representatives from different countries and international organizations.
The conference was dedicated to discussing current issues and prospects for the development of PPP in Kyrgyzstan and the Central Asian region, and is a platform for constructive dialogue and the development of new strategies aimed at strengthening the interaction between the state and business in the interests of our society, the organizers said.
