President Sadyr Zhaparov arrives in Tajikistan

Bishkek, June 28, 2021 . / Kabar /. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov arrived on Monday in the Tajik capital city of Dushanbe for an official visit, his press service said.

At the Dushanbe International Airport the Kyrgyz president was met by Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kohir Rasulzoda.

The state flags of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan were hung on the airport's flagpoles, the carpet carpet was laid out, and the Honor Guard Company was lined up.

As part of the visit, Kyrgyz President Zhaparov will hold bilateral talks with his Tajik counterpart Emomali Rahmon.

The sides will discuss current areas of bilateral cooperation, including issues on the Kyrgyz-Tajik state border.

The delegation of the Kyrgyz Republic consists of:

- Minister of Foreign Affairs Ruslan Kazakbaev;

- Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers - Minister of Economy and Finance Akylbek Zhaparov;

- Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Kyrgyz President's Office Dastan Dyushekeyev;

- Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Tajikistan Zhanysh Rustenbekov;

- Minister of Transport and Communications Gulmira Abdraliyeva;

- Minister of Emergency Situations Bobek Azhikeyev;

- Minister of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy Kairat Imanaliyev;

- Governor of Batken Oblast Abdikarim Alimbayev;

- Governor of Osh Oblast Zharasul Abduraimov;
