Premiere of “Song of Chyngyz” play by Italian director Andrea Benallo held in Bishkek

Bishkek, Oct. 15, 2018. /Kabar/. A premiere of a play “Yr. Pesn Chingizu” (Russian: ЫР. Песнь Чингизу, lit.: Song of Chyngyz) by Italian director Andrea Benallo (assistants Alina Fofanova, Russia, and Zhibek Biryukova, Kyrgyzstan) was held in the performance genre in the State National Russian Drama Theater named after Aitmatov, in the small hall, in collaboration with the Ateliercuncheo Nresearch theatre, as well as with the support of the Italian Embassy in Astana and the Embassy of the Russian Federation, the representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo in Kyrgyzstan.

The performance is dedicated to the 90th anniversary of writer of world literature Chyngyz Aitmatov.

The performance is based on the works of great writer Chyngyz Aitmatov: “Scaffold”, “Cassandra's Brand”, “The White Cloud of Genghis Khan”, “When the Mountains Fall”, “Spotted Dog Running On Seashore”. Weaving them into a single line, the play with numerous sayings touches all the strings of a multifaceted human soul. Something monumental, sometimes episodic, appearing as if from nowhere - images, faces and heroes, in a peculiar structure of performance, lead the viewer to high reflections and even answers to the eternal human question of choice. Choosing words, deeds, actions. The choice of man before God, himself, people.

Talented and enthusiastic play of actors Zhibek Biryukova, Dmitry Malko, Bogdan Stepanyuk, Irina Surkova, Sabina Ismanbayeva, Elena Purtova, professionalism of art director, honored cultural worker of Kyrgyzstan Yuldash Nurmatova, costumes of Zuhra Muqambetova and live music accompaniment of Bakyt Chytyrbaev, Aidai Stamkulova, Dastan Birimkulov created a breathtaking atmosphere in the hall and the participation of spectators in the action performance.
