Preparation for upcoming SCO Summit discussed in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Feb. 9, 2022. / Kabar /. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Vladimir Norov and Secretary General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Zhang Ming during an online meeting via videoconferencing reviewed in detail the preparations for the upcoming events under the chairmanship of Uzbekistan in the SCO

The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of zbekistan said that the particular attention was paid to the issues of preparing and holding a high-level meeting of the Council of Heads of SCO Member States this year in Uzbekistan.

An agreement was reached on strengthening joint work and active participation of the SCO Secretariat in the content of ministerial meetings and the summit, agreeing on relevant draft documents and working together to promote relevant initiatives.

The SCO Summit will be held in September 2022 in Samarkand.
