Bishkek, April 28, 2022. / Kabar /. A presentation of the draft Regional Policy Concept for 2023-2027, prepared by the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan was held, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reported.
The main goal of the Regional Policy Concept for 2023-2027 is to improve the quality of life and well-being of citizens living in cities and in the regions of the republic.
The priority areas of the Regional Policy Concept for 2023-2027 are as follows: - a new system of planning and development of regions; - economics of regions; - complex development of reference points of growth (urbanization); - directive support of the regions.
In conclusion, the participants of the presentation gave appropriate recommendations for improving the content of the conceptual vision of the development of the regions.
Taking into account the proposals made by the Ministry of Economy and Commerce, the finalization of the Concept of the Regional Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic will be continued.
