President Atambayev received head of the "Yiman" Foundation

Bishkek, March 11 / Kabar /. President of Kyrgyzstan received Nurzhigit Kadyrbekov, Chairman of the Board of the "Yiman" Spiritual Culture Development Foundation, the press service of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic reports.

During the meeting, the head of state was informed about the work carried out by the Yiman Foundation for the retraining and professional development of clergymen, supporting creative people in implementing their positive ideas. Nurzhigit Kadyrbekov said that since the launch of the project in 2015, more than 2,000 imams have received the necessary training and raised the level of religious and secular literacy.

He also told the President about plans to implement activities within the framework of the Year of Morality, Education and Culture aimed at promoting a harmonious interrelation between the national culture of the Kyrgyz people, education and religion, creating various platforms for youth in the regions of the country in order to facilitate the disclosure of their spiritual and intellectual potential.

President Atambayev emphasized the special importance of the activity of the Yiman Foundation in the development of the spiritual culture of citizens and the formation of a healthy, peace-loving, tolerant and educated society in the country. The President noted that, taking into account the religious situation in the country and the tendencies of its development in the world, the assistance of the Yiman Foundation is especially valuable for the state and civil society in strengthening interdenominational harmony and tolerance in Kyrgyzstan.
