Bishkek, June 30, 2022. /Kabar/. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov took part in a final session of the 7th convocation of the Jogorku Kenesh held on Thursday.
During the session, First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Adylbek Kasymaliev and Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet Bakyt Torobaev took the oath.
Further, the president delivered a speech, noting a significant increase in the volume of tax and customs revenues for six months compared to the results of 2021, a significant increase in budget financing of the social sphere, strengthening of energy security of the country, construction of schools, medical institutions and other social facilities.
Sadyr Zhaparov stressed that these results were achieved due to coordinated work of the legislative and executive branches of power.
He urged to leave political squabbles and intrigues and to keep up with the world trends, stressing that Kyrgyzstan sets priority task to put order in the economy and its further development.
The Kyrgyz leader raised an important issue in parliament - the peak of payments on external debt. Over the next 10 years, the country needs to repay debts that have accumulated over 30 years of independence.
He noted the need to be resolute in such serious problems as the external debt.
Zhaparov expressed hope that such issues would be resolved with the support of the people's representatives.
