President attends swearing-in ceremony of new government members

Bishkek, Feb. 3, 2021. /Kabar/. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov took part in the ceremony of swearing-in of new members of the government, his press service said on Wednesday.

The oath was taken by:

- Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Ulukbek Maripov;

- First Deputy Prime Minister - Artem Novikov;

- Minister of Economy and Finance - Deputy Prime Minister - Ulukbek Karymshakov;

- Chief of the Government’s Office - Minister - Zhenish Asankulov;

- Minister of Defense (in agreement with the president) - Taalaibek Omuraliyev;

- Minister of Foreign Affairs - Ruslan Kazakbaev;

- Minister of Justice - Asel Chynbayeva;

- Minister of Health and Social Development - Alymkadyr Beishenaliyev;

- Minister of Education and Science - Almazbek Beishenaliyev;

- Minister of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy - Kairat Imanaliyev;

- Minister of Emergency Situations - Boobek Azhiyev;

- Minister of Internal Affairs - Ulan Niyazaliyev;

- Minister of Transport, Architecture, Construction and Communications - Gulmira Abdraliyeva;

- Minister of Energy and Industry - Kubanychbek Turdubayev;

- Minister of Agriculture, Water Resources and Regional Development - Askarbek Dzhanybekov;

- Chairman of the State Committee for National Security (in agreement with the president) - Kamchybek Tashiyev.

President Zhaparov delivered a speech in which he thanked the Jogorku Kenesh for support and noted the urgent tasks facing the new government: taking urgent anti-crisis measures to stabilize the economy and eliminate the consequences of the coronavirus infection pandemic, as well as developing a sustainable economic growth program.
