Turkmen President leads large scale bicycle race in honour of Day of Health

On 7 April, 2018 Turkmenistan marked the Day of Health in honour of which large-scale festivities and bicycle rides were organized across the country. A 15 kilometer bicycle race was led by President Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov.

The head of the state rode a new bike presented to him by members of the Cabinet of Ministers along Ashgabat. It should be noted that this is the second bicycle presented to the President last week.

TDH reports that during a bicycle race the head of the state was accompanied by Cabinet members, executives of the Mejlis, military and law enforcement officers, ministries and agencies, non-government organizations and mass media, the head of diplomatic missions and international organizations accredited in Turkmenistan, the khyakim of Ashgabat and University chancellors.
