Bishkek, Jan. 24, 2020. / Kabar /. President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Jeenbekov during a regular meeting of the Security Council of the Kyrgyz Republic criticized a number of state bodies of the country for their formal attitude to the implementation of decisions of the Security Council.
“We set an ambitious goal - to bring Kyrgyzstan to the forefront of digitalization among the countries of the region. But the report makes it clear what state the work of government bodies in implementing decisions in the field of digitalization of the country is,” he said adding that in some state bodies, work is unsatisfactory.
The President demanded promptness from the state bodies responsible for the implementation of the Digital Kyrgyzstan Concept. The head of state emphasized that until July 2019, work on the implementation of the decision of the Security Council on digitalization was not carried out properly. Only when it became known that this issue would be considered at the Security Council, government agencies stepped up and began to implement some measures.
