Bishkek, Oct. 27, 2023 . / Kabar / . As part of his working trip to Jalal-Abad Oblast, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov familiarized with the progress of construction of a number of social facilities in Jalal-Abad city.
The head of state got acquainted with the progress of overhaul of the regional Olympic Reserve School, which is being carried out at the expense of the republican budget. At present, the final preparations for the opening of the facility are underway.
Previously a vocational lyceum since 1992, now after a major renovation, the school will be adapted for 400 children.
The school will be able to host large-scale international competitions and training camps after major reconstruction.
Further, President Zhaparov toured the construction of a new three-storey building of the regional hospital designed for 100 beds. The additional building will house neurology, therapy and nephrology departments. At present, the works at the facility are 80% complete.
In Suzak region, the Kyrgyz leader visited the milk processing plant of Umut & Co. where he was told about its activities and plans for production.
The processing plant started its activities in June 2023. Today the plant processes about 80-100 tons of milk per day. The plant produces cheese, cottage cheese, sour cream and butter.
Sadyr Zhaparov emphasized the importance of the work of such enterprises to ensure food security of the country, in this regard, the state will continue to support the opening and operation of such plants.
