Bishkek, April 4, 2021 . / Kabar /. Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov got acquainted with the project of construction of enterprises in the industrial, trade and logistics zone located in Batken town of Batken Oblast.
This visit took place as part of the president's working trip to Batken Oblast, his press service said on Saturday.
The head of state was informed that a land plot of 172.9 hectares was transformed into an industrial zone on the basis of a government decree.
In the coming years it is planned to open 28 new enterprises, which will create more than two thousand jobs.
Currently, land is allocated and construction of a textile factory, an apricot processing plant, a slaughterhouse, a logistics center for fruit storage, and a crushing plant is underway. Construction of several other enterprises will begin in the coming months.
By the end of 2021, it is planned to implement a number of projects to build a workshop for the production of cotton oil and plastic containers, a milk processing plant, a plant for the production of biohumus.
Sadyr Zhaparov talked with local residents, listened to their pressing problems and answered their concerns.
The Kyrgyz leader emphasized that he took under his personal control the issues of expanding access to concessional mortgage lending and increasing the volume of concessional lending for farmers and small and medium-sized businesses.
He also drew the attention of local authorities to provide all possible assistance to domestic investors and entrepreneurs in resolving their possible issues, and assured that the state will continue to improve the favorable conditions for their activities.
