Bishkek, Aug. 13, 2020. /Kabar/. Today, Aug. 13, President Sooronbay Jeenbekov paid a working visit to Dzhalal-Abad town (Dzhalal-Abad Oblast), and familiarized with the implementation of projects to improve the town’s infrastructure, his press service reported.
Dzhalal-Abad Mayor Murataly Tagayev presented information on reconstruction of internal roads, construction of social facilities, implementation of projects to provide clean water to the population, improvement of park areas and improvement of urban infrastructure.
For instance, the construction of a new kindergarten building in Dzhalal-Abad town is financed from the local budget. To date, more than half of the construction work has been done, and the kindergarten is expected to be commissioned by September this year.
The president noted that improvement of local infrastructure, construction of new educational and health-care facilities, implementation of other projects within the regional development policy are under special control.
In this regard, Jeenbekov called for close attention to be paid to the quality and timely implementation of all previously planned projects.
The head of state reminded that support of children and social protection of childhood are among other priorities of the state policy.
